I've been taking Italian lessons twice per week with Daniela for 6 months and it's been an awesome journey! I started from scratch and had no background in any other Latin languages. I didn't think it was going to be possible, but just after a few months I started speaking and by now, I can understand most of everyday conversations and I can speak confidently about quite a few topics. I got a lot of compliments from friends and family. Daniela's lessons made it possible to spend my first Christmas in Italy with my boyfriend's Italian family and be able to have conversations without any problems or stress.

Daniela's lessons are tailored to my needs, are flexible yet demanding. All in all, I learn a lot and also have a ton of fun in the process. Daniela has also been nothing but sweet about helping me with local things (I moved to L'Aquila 6 months ago) and never fails to have a few great recommendations, let it be hiking, cafés or the best restaurants in the are. She knows L'Aquila well and with her help I found the city to be the perfect place to study Italian: it's a beautiful, walkable, friendly place where people are glad to speak Italian with learners of the language. Ik heb genoten van de cursusweek Italiaans bij Daniela in L’ Aquila Abruzzo. We hadden een gezellige kleine groep waardoor we erg flexibel konden zijn en wat konden switchen in les momenten en excursie momenten. Ik heb weer van alles bijgeleerd over de Italiaanse taal en de regio deze week. Daniela is een geduldige en duidelijke lerares. Ik volg al online lessen bij haar. Deze week in Italië met mede cursisten, was weer een hele nieuwe maar waardevolle ervaring. Zeker een aanrader. Dank Daniela.

We had a course with Daniela in L'Aquila which we can thoroughly recommend. We are at different levels in Italian and both of us made significant progress. Daniela's lessons were interesting, fun and and geared to help us improve our language skills. In addition L'Aquila is a lovely city and a great base to explore this part of Abruzzo.

I've followed the Italian course A1.1 to learn the basics of the language through Daniela's Gentilmente. The course has a very practical approach and it invites the course members to participate in speaking and writing Italian from day one.
Daniela ensures that you feel at home and encourages you to practice. As a native speaker she also teaches you something about Italian culture along the way. I find she is a very dedicated and capable teacher.
In the end, the atmosphere in our group was very good and the motivation to continue learning high, proven by the fact that a large majority signed up for a follow up course.
I recommend Gentilmente to anyone who is interested in learning Italian, regardless of your nationality.

Ik heb al 2 jaar les van Daniela.
Eerst in Groningen en nu via zoom.
Daniela geeft erg leuk les, bedenktbook steeds iets om het beste uit jou te halen.
Ik kijk elke week weer uit naar een uurtje les.
Inmiddels kan ik stukken krant lezen en steeds beter gesprekken volgen.

Daniele is een hele goede docente. De lessen zijn afwisselend. De werkvormen eigentijds. Het boek, het leesboekje en het ondersteunende materiaal helpen je op speelse wijze het Italiaans onder de knie te krijgen. Als je regelmatig zelf oefent zul je verbaasd zijn hoe snel je gesprekken in het Italiaans kunt voeren.
